The gothic bridge

The bridge is a noticed point in Lavardin

The bridge was built in the late 12th century or early 13th century.

Long by 56 meters, it rests on eight arches, five have retained their form in third-point, three other latest being destroyed in 1870 by the army and rebuilt semicircular.

Upstream, the bridge is equipped with front burner probably dating from the fifteenth century and later split and decrease thrust.

Like many bridge of this size it should be provided with a toll station shelter, it should be in the middle of the bridge on the ark disappeared today bateleière
