With the theme ‘Lavardin’, artists can choose any place in the village which inspires them, including:

 The famous "Promenade des Poètes" along the Loir river and the old bridge from the 13th century,

 The wonderful views over the village from "La Rotte aux Biques"

 The Saint Genest priory

 The Old houses

 The castle.

After the jury’s deliberations, the various awards are presented to the winners. This year, 2009, marked the first Painting Exhibition which ran for four days where the winners paintings were exhibited together with those of invited professional artists. It was a great success and will be repeated next year.
